About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aegis team as the Learning and Development Consultant.
As the Learning and Development Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in both the strategic and operational aspects of the Learning and Development functions across the Aegis group. The role is directly accountable for the initial development of a group wide training needs analysis, together with a training and development strategic plan and implementation of this plan. Your focus is on the upskilling of all Clinicians and other specified groups of staff. This Role will be based at Aegis Central Offices however you will visit Facilities as required.
Reporting to the Executive Manager People and Culture, you will be responsible for:
- Determining Aegis’ annual Learning and Development plan, including the development of a systematic approach to the delivery of existing mandatory compliance training across all 28 plus sites, to ensure the highest quality material is developed and subsequently delivery.
- Provide direction and advice on training and development strategies, determining Learning and Development priorities.
- Manage and rollout the L&D programs, monitor effectiveness and implement continuous improvement.
- Develop new and update existing training material.
- Coordinating the delivery of all group wide education and learning programs in consultation with management
- Manage the Litmos’ training system, also provide assistance and training to the Facilities to ensure the system is used to full capacity.

Requirements of the role
- Experience in the development, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development programs.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve the required service relationships outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels in the organisation.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative but must also be able to work collaboratively with all P&C colleagues.
- Demonstrate understanding and experience in change and ability to establish programs to enhance workforce engagement and commitment.
- Experience in maintaining Learning Management systems. (Litmos experience is desirable)
- Agile, operationally focused, and passionate about continuous improvement.
- Registered Nurse qualification with Aged Care experience.
- Proficient in MS office Suite of applications and HRIS.
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
