About The Role

Currently we are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide services across the Aegis Group on a Contract basis, with 25 – 35 referrals per month.

Predominantly working with residents with dysphagia, you will:

1. Undertake assessment, diagnosis and management of residents with swallowing and communication disorders
2. Complete accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.

About You

1. Experienced in current Speech Pathology practices, preferably with Aged Care experience.
2. Well developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
3. Able to work independently and within a team environment.
4. Hold a genuine interest in working with older people.
5. Understand the needs of and issues facing older people.
6. Good time management skills

Essential Requirements

1. Speech Pathology qualification and AHPRA registration.
2. Experience in Aged Care (desirable).
3. Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
4. Own transport

Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience, however, a minimum two hour callout fee and agreed hourly rate will apply to cover visitation, assessment, and documentation.
